2DK had a fantastic visit to Blackpool lifeboat station yesterday.We even saw a real life call out!

1KL wrote instructions on how to make a sandwich. Mrs Lewis followed our instructions and made a banana sandwich.

We have been talking and writing about our toys in Year 1.

Here are a few examples.

Jacob wrote about a snake.

Chloe brought her favourite teddy bear.

Marshall wrote about a dinosaur.

Shannon told us about her Winnie the Pooh bear.

Jordan described our class Seal puppet.

The Numicon is great for creating number patterns.

We made patterns with the number rods then found the matching number cards.

Sorting and counting small objects.

We made number games using number cards.
